You may apply for this loan in your own name or you may wish your spouse (if any) or other person to be a co-applicant. There is no requirement for your spouse (if any) or other person to apply or otherwise become obligated to repay the debt except to the extent that your spouse's or other person's income and/or assets are necessary to qualify you for the loan. If your spouse or another person wishes to be a co-applicant on this loan and therefore voluntarily be obligated to repay the debt, he or she may do so.
If you are married or separated, your spouse may be required to sign certain documents, which are necessary to properly complete the processing of your loan (i.e. mortgage or deed of trust).
Income you receive from alimony, child support, or maintenance payments need not be disclosed unless you choose to rely on such sources to qualify you for the loan. We will not discount income from these sources, as well as from other sources, including part-time income, because of your sex or marital status.
You may apply for credit using your birth-given first name and surname or a birth-given first name and combined surname. We would request, however, that if your credit history is in a name other than the name to be used on your application, that any such name be disclosed to us.

2. Race, color religion, sex, marital status, domestic partnership, national origin or ancestry.
