Burlington,Mass. (August 12, 2004) -- Barry Thomas has joined Amerihome Mortgage as the new Branch Manager in the company's office here in Burlington, Massachusetts.

An award-winning broker, Thomas brings over 19 years of mortgage lending experience to Amerihome Mortgage. He is a previous President's Club/Leaders Club winner, and has closed over 2500 loans totaling over $400,000,000. Thomas is also active in Habitat for Humanity, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund and the Massachusetts Society for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys performing and managing community theater, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

In his new position, Thomas will manage, recruit and train the Burlington office of Amerihome Mortgage as well as assist area homebuyers with their residential financing needs.

Thomas comes to Amerihome from Community Residential Lending, where he was a Senior Loan Officer. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University. Thomas is a resident of Andover where he resides with his wife, Abby.
