Offers Leadership Advice in The Mortgage Press

Brookfield, WI (April 1, 2005) – President and CEO of Amerihome
Mortgage, LLC has advice for Sales Managers and others recruiting
and managing mortgage loan officers: hiring the best candidates
is only part of the success formula. According to DelTorto, the
duty of sales leadership is to adopt a "coach methodology."
His article was published in the March 2005 of several regional
issues of The Mortgage Press.
DelTorto points out that "Tiger
Woods, Michael Jordan and all of the best and brightest in any
endeavor… have a coach who helps them stay on top or advance
their game." He likens coaching these top athletes to leading
a sales team. "Top producers need coaching to help recognize
changes in the market and opportunities to expand their business,"
says DelTorto. Without this coaching, says DelTorto, "top
producers may begin to feel that they are bringing more to the
table than they are receiving."
DelTorto formed Amerihome Mortgage
in 1997 with three other mortgage company executives. Based in
